The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home With Lost My Name

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home With Lost My Name

When the people from Lost My Name got in touch and asked if we would like to go on an Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home we jumped at the chance. Having heard so many positive reviews of the Lost My Name books I was interested to see what their latest book The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home had to offer and it certainly didn’t disappoint. This wonderful book takes your child on a journey across the galaxy introducing aliens and even an intergalactic zoo to your child. With the inclusion of your child in the story they can really get involved and feel like such a huge part of it, the most unusual part of the book however is that it includes an aerial shot of your home address (or which ever address you choose when ordering).

Ordering the book was simple, by heading to https://www.lostmy.name/ you can pop in details of your child, your address and boom your book is ready to be ordered. They allow for you to double-check that your address is included in the image and you can alter it if need be. We didn’t need to do that as it picked up the address we had chosen. As we are moving back to Scotland we chose to have the address included be my in-laws as that is where we will be living for a little while.

The story, without giving too much away, is really engaging, it’s also just the right length even for an almost 2-year-old. Though Ailsa doesn’t quite understand it all yet the illustrations keep her interested and are just lovely even for Mummy and Daddy. As part of the journey home I was very surprised to see a local landmark included in the book, for us that was the Forth Railway Bridge which connects Edinburgh to Fife. It was something that was unexpected but such a nice addition to the book. The book is colourful and easy to read to your child and once they have learned to read they will be able to read it on their own.

We have absolutely loved this story and will definitely be checking out the original Lost My Name book. This story would make a great birthday or Christmas present for any little ones in your life, I know a number of little ones who would love this story.

  • We were sent this book in return for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
