If you’ve long been a reader of mine or read my about page then you’ll most likely know that both James and I are from Scotland and have been living down south for a Number of years. James from September 2009 and myself January 2013.
Our time in Wiltshire has been amazing. It is where we moved in together for the first time. Where we finished planning our wedding. Where we first lived as a married couple. Where we both got proper grown up jobs after finishing Uni. Where we discovered we were going to be parents. Where our daughter was born and where we took her home to her first ever house. The home she has grown up in for almost 2 years. Wiltshire has been the place of many a sleepless night with a newborn and sunny park trips with a toddler. Wonderful friendships that will last a lifetime have been forged here and I truly treasure all the wonderful memories Wiltshire has brought us.
But the time has come for us to start a new journey and take a new road and that road is leading us right back to our roots. Our home in Fife. We want to surround ourselves with Family and with old friends. To make sure that no one misses out on Ailsa growing up and that we can be involved in family life once more.
We cannot be more excited to move back home. We have wanted it for so long and at the moment it doesn’t seem completely real. I’m sure once packing properly commences it will, a job I’m not looking forward to but in 2ish months we will be home.
Thank you Wiltshire it’s been a pleasure, Fife we cannot wait to be back!!
