Beer 52 Craft Beer Subscription Box- The Perfect Christmas Gift

Beer 52 Craft Beer Subscription Box- The Perfect Christmas Gift

Last week we were sent a lovely Craft Beer subscription box from Beer 52. I decided to surprise James with it so I could gauge his genuine reaction of the box and as a craft beer lover I knew he would be over the moon with the delivery and I was right. As soon as he saw the box he was straight in there having a look at which beers had been delivered. When I told him he had to wait till I had photographed them before he could pop them in the fridge he was thoroughly disappointed, he only had to wait a day though. Just by chance his brother was here to visit the same weekend they got here so they both enjoyed taste testing all the beers and giving me some feedback.

Beer 52 are the UK’s largest Craft Beer discovery club and send their subscribers a selection of Craft Beers carefully curated by their team each month. Our box was delivered by courier and arrived in one piece, it is very clear on the box that there is glass inside so hopefully the couriers will be that more gentle with it. There were 7 bottles and one can in the box all well packed along with a small pack of flavoured seeds and a magazine. The men were thoroughly impressed with the selection that was sent through and really couldn’t wait to get stuck in. They both had a try of all of the beers and there were none that either of them disliked. Being big Craft Beer fans they thoroughly enjoyed trying some new brands as well as a familiar favourite Brew Dog.

The Contents of the box we themed around Christmas with several different styles of beer such as Session IPA’s, Rye Ale, American Amber and Grisette. James and Sean were quite happy to try some new styles of Beer. They were both super impressed with everyone that they tried but the particular favourites were the Littlebro by Norwegian brand Ægir and Santa Paws by Brew Dog. I asked them both if they thought it was worth the money (a 1 month subscription is £24 for 8 beers) and I got a resounding yes! I also asked if they would like to receive the box as a gift for either Christmas or a Birthday and again they both answered with a yes. James also suggested it would be a great idea to order a box for a boys night so there was nice selection of Beers rather than the bog standard from the supermarket.

So overall the Beer 52 Craft Beer Subscription box was a roaring success! I think a subscription would make the perfect gift for any Beer aficionado or for someone who is just getting into Beer. You can sign up here and if you use code MRSLYNCH10 you can get £10 off your order!!
